We’re hosting a series of events across the state intended to raise the visibility of the problem of gerrymandering, release our list of solutions, and highlight the centerpiece of our reform agenda – an independent citizen redistricting commission. Taking part in these events, in addition to our strong collection of nonpartisan coalition partners, are a long list of elected officials, policy experts, voting rights advocates and three members of the California Citizens Redistricting Commission.

The Commission was awarded a prestigious grant from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government for its ability to make government more representative, expand public participation in electoral politics, and involve citizens in governance in new, creative ways.
